Trees are free

trees grow free

they cannot speak

but still, they show you what they need

I don’t know much about them

but they give me a space to be

to play, to climb

to lie amongst leaf green

Falling leaf green

grasping rough, hearty branch

I know I want to latch on here

I know I’ve met my match
